Juarjal Duck
Lophonetta specularioides

It can be 50 to 60 centimeter long. It is a grey and brown duck, with shades of copper feathers. Its tail is pointy and long, and the crest is attached to the back of its neck.

Distribucion

From the Maule Lagoon to Cabo de Hornos. Also, you can find it in the highlands between Arica and Curico.

Habitat

In rivers, lakes and lagoons.
