Jilguero
Carduelis barbatus

It is a bit bigger than 13 centimeters long. Its crown, throat, neck, tail and wings are black, although tail and wings do have yellow spots in them. The upper part of their bodies is olive yellow and the back is light olive, and the inferior part is yellow-green and the abdomen is white. Females are known because their chin and crown are not black, and the lower part of their body is green.

Distribucion

From the Huasco Valley, in the Thrid Region, to Cabo de Hornos.

Habitat

In the bushes and forests.
