Itinerary

Departures: Monday and Thursday.
Starting Point: Santiago Airport.
Day 1: Airport - Santiago
Reception at Santiago Airport and transfer to selected hotel. In the afternoon city tour in Santiago visiting the main tourist attractions, such as, old district, San Francisco church built between 1572 and 1618. Government Palace, Main square, Central Post office, Santa Lucía Hill founded in 1541, majesticly located in the center of the city. The trip follows until San Cristóbal Hill where a panaromic view of Santiago city is appreciated. Finally we will visit the most modern district in the city. Back to hotel, lodging.
Day 2: Santiago – San Pedro de Atacama – Moon Valley
Breakfast and transfer to the airport to take the flight to Calama. Reception and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. In the afternoon, departure from the hotel to The Moon Valley. In the way which join San Pedro with Calama, stop for photographing the Salt Mountain from a viewing point. After in the moon valley, we will visit the salt statues “Las Tres Marías”, the salt mine, the salt caverns and we will look the evening since a big sand dune. Come back to hotel. Lodging. (B)
Day 3: Altiplanic Lagoon Tour and Atacama Salt
Departure at 07:00 hrs from the hotels. Visit the Toconao town, typical handicrafts in the Atacama zone, also the San Lucas Tower (National Monument and town symbol). The travel includes the visit to the Atacama Salt, check in to Los Flamencos National Reserve (Chaxas lagoon site). We will follow our trip to the altiplano for taking the Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons (4.150 m.o.s.l.). In the middle of our route we will have a little stop in the Socaire (3.200 m.o.s.l.) town to acclimate and for photographing the little San Bartolomé church. Come back to San Pedro at 19:00 hours approximately, lodging. (B)
Day 4: Archaeological Tour
Breakfast in the hotel. At 09:00 hrs. Visit to Pukará del Quitor and the Salt mountain. Arrive to the Tulor ruins with more than 3000 years old. Come back to San Pedro for the Séquitor Ayllu. Come back to hotel at 13:00 hrs. Rest of the afternoon free. Lodging. (B)
Day 5: Tatio Geysers – Santiago
Departure at 04:00 am from the hotel. Arrive at 07:00 to the Tatio Geysers (4.320 m.o.s.l.). Breakfast and trekking to the different geysers and shower in the thermal swimming pool. Come back to San Pedro de Atacama by Machuca, a typical atacameñan town. Transfer to airport to take the flight to Santiago. Reception at the Santiago airport and transfer to selected hotel, lodging. Day 6: Santiago – Balmaceda – Chacabuco – Puyuhuapi
Breakfast and transfer to Santiago Airport to take the flight to Balmaceda. Reception in the Balmaceda airport. Begin tour through the Patagonian grasslands of the Aysen region, to sight the city of Coyhaique. After a brief visit to the city center, continue the journey along the beautiful valley of the Simpson River until we reach Puerto Chacabuco. There awaits the Patagonia Express catamaran to sail on a journey of approx. 5 hours through the channels and fjords to its destination: Termas de Puyuhuapi, Hotel & Spa. (B,D)
Day 7: Termas de Puyuhuapi, Hotel & Spa
Visits to National Park Queulat Hanging Glacier, bicycle trips along the Carretera Austral or if you wish, explore the Dorita Bay in boats and kayaks. (B,L,D)
Day 8: Puyuhuapi - San Rafael Lagoon – Chacabuco
At 07:00 hrs. will begin our journey through the southern fjords aboard the Patagonia Express catamaran to meet the San Rafael Lagoon. Sailing through the various channels until finally joining the River Icebergs to San Rafael Lagoon, home to a millenarian glacier. After a stay of approx. 2 hrs., the return to Chacabuco, the arrival is around 22:30 hrs, before being transferred to the hotel in that port. (B,L)
Day 9: Chacabuco – Coyhaique
After breakfast, we will travel by bus on the road that borders the Simpson River, from Chacabuco to Coyhaique. Lodging in Hosteria Coyhaique. (B)
Day 10: Coyhaique - Terra Luna Lodge
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the Southern Highway towards Puerto Guadal in the way we visit "Villa Cerro Castillo", wonderful plain dominated by the mountain bearing the same name. We had lunch at a typical Restaurant Patagonian. We continue to Puerto Tranquilo for a boat tour (weather permitting) to the "Capilla de Marmol (Marble Chapel)" fantastic caves drawn by the waves. Arrival in Puerto Guadal. Terra Luna Lodge welcomes us with welcome drinks and a delicious dinner.(B,L,D)
Day 11: Terra Luna Lodge
Breakfast to enjoy a full day in the area of Terra Luna, "Excursions to choice" where the passenger can select from a menu of 17 trips, the activity you want during the day (trip includes lunch), Baker River, lakes, fossils, glaciers and enjoy various activities such as election mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, etc. We returned to the Lodge for dinner.(B,L,D)
Day 12: Terra Luna Lodge - Lions Lake onboard the Jet Boat "The Glacier Connection"
Breakfast. Puerto Guadal output. General Carrera Lake Traverse to the drain of the Lions River. Navigation Jet Boat "The Glacier Connection" (40 min.) In the river to Port Lions jet. On the way we see beautiful landscapes and various species of birds. Hike to Lake Lions (30 min. / Max. 1 hr.). Navigation on Lake Lions zodiac in which fall 3 glaciers. We note the blocks of ice off the front. Picnic in front of the glacier with the ubiquitous "whisky on the rocks". Return to Puerto Jet and sailing back to Puerto Guadal and put intermediaries or transfer vehicle (as lake conditions). We returned to dinner at the Lodge.(B,L,D)
Day 13: Terra Luna Lodge - Balmaceda – Punta Arenas
Breakfast at Terra Luna Lodge to begin the journey back to Balmaceda in transfer to take flight to Punta Arenas, lodging in selected hotel in Punta Arenas. (B)
Day 14: Punta Arenas - Torres del Paine
Transfer from the airport in Punta Arenas to Hotel Lago Grey in Torres del Paine. On the way visit Milodon Cave, an archaeological site where they were found the remains of extinct prehistoric animal Milodon. Arrival and reception at Hotel Lago Grey. Then enjoy a refreshing welcome pisco sour in the lounge bar. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Lago Grey. Transfer round includes box lunch. (B,BL,D)
Day 15: Torres del Paine
After breakfast, enjoy a pleasant half day walk with the private guide for one of the main viewpoints of the Lago Grey sector in Torres del Paine National Park. Return to the hotel and enjoy a refreshing lunch. After Lunch, half day excursion including the navigation to the Grey Glacier on board the comfortable boat Grey II. Back in the afternoon at Hotel Lago Grey. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 16: Torres del Paine
After breakfast, enjoy the beautiful scenery of Torres del Paine National Park in our private tour of the most attractive places of this World Biosphere Reserve including a visit to Blue Lagoon. Instead of agreeing with your guide, enjoy a refreshing lunch box. Back in the afternoon at Hotel Lago Grey. Dinner and overnight. (B,BL,D)
Day 17: Torres del Paine - Punta Arenas – Santiago
After breakfast, transfer to Punta Arenas airport to take the flight back to Santiago. Reception at the Santiago Airport an transfer to selected hotel, rest of day free, lodging. (D)
Day 18: Santiago – Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Airport. (D)
