The reservoir is part of the Colbun Machicura Hydroelectric Central and a great water reserve for the seventh region, with a total volume of 1500 million of cubic meters.
It has 46 kilometers of surface, in which you can enjoy different aquatic activities.

Seventh region. Located 8 kilometers northeast of Colbun and 87 kilometers southeast of Talca.
How to get there?
Land route, by Route L-35 from Linares. Then take Route L-15-17-395 to Colbun Lake.
When to go?
All year long.
Climate
Moderate mediterranean weather. In the shore, the temperatures are moderate, with a dry season of 6 months in the north and 4 months in the south. During summer time, the high temperature goes from 19ºC to 30ºC, meanwhile, during winter the minimun temperature goes to 7ºC.
