In the heart of Frutillar, a residence which traces its history to the 1900 is the charming setting of the Petit Hotel Ayacara. Situated at the edge of Lago Llanquihue the Hotel has magnificent views of the lake and Volcan Osorno. The house has been superbly restored with a profound respect for tradition recycling the original ancient woods and materials. Today, updated with contemporary amenities and cousy style, Hotel Ayacara keeps the gracious feel of an old fashioned house from the South of Chile.

Rooms:

- El Capitan: Above the lake with stunning views. A Queen bed with full bath, living, and reading lounge with extensive lake views. Room on 2nd floor.

- Las Balandrias: Its name comes from the first ships that sailed into the Llanquihue Lake. Lying on the bed you navigate in infinite dreams on the Lake in first class. A Queen bed with full bath and living room with couch. Lake view. Room on 2nd floor.

- Flores Amarillas: The room of large windows. Very bright with a beautiful view. Two 1 ½ square beds, bathroom, and lounge for reading with a large window overlooking the lake. 1st floor room. Optional extra bed for child.

- La Tia: Soft & subtle. Especially when the apple tree outside the window is in bloom. A Queen bed with full bath and living room with reading table. Lake view.

- El Retiro: The favorite of the couple. Quiet & reserved. A Queen bed with full bath and living room with couch. Lake view. 3rd floor room.

- La Dulcinea: Romantic & feminine. Its colors change with the light of day. A Queen bed with full bath and living room with couch. Lake view. 3rd floor room.

- Flores Azules: Very private & spacious. Its interior wood paneling make it very warm. One queen bed, full bath, and room with sofas and garden views. 1st floor room. Optional extra bed for a child.

- El Musico: You have to live it. It is very inspiring. Two 1 ½ square beds, bathroom and garden view. Room on 2nd floor.
