The Lonquimay Volcano Ski Center is located in the southeast slope of the mountain, at 1400 meters above sea level. The tracks are ideal to practice ski, for amateurs and professionals. It has a varied food center, housing, equipment rental and guides for excursions.

Ninth region. Located 10 kilometers north of Malalcahuello and 128 kilometers northeast of Temuco.

How to get there?

From Victoria and Lautaro: Land route, by Route 5. Then take International Route R-89.

When to go?

All year long.


Rainy, moderate weather. This weather features rain all year long; in the interior, the temperature oscillates between day and night time. In the high lands there´s a cold weather.
