Parinacota Church is one of the main architecture attractions in the region. It was originally built in the 17th century and reconstructed in 1789.
Made of mud, salt and paja brava, the Parinacota church is a clear example of Spanish architecture, with archs and rocky coronas, and walls all around it.
Inside the church you will find statues of saints, everything done with colors and the style of the coloners.

First region. Located 15 kilometers southeast of Chungara, 36 kilometers east of Putre, 181 kilometers northeast of Arica and 498 kilometers north of Iquique.
