Ranco lake is surrounded by small towns, such as Futrono, La Union, Rio Bueno and Ranco Lake. It is a perfect place to practice outdoor activities and sports.

Tenth region. Located 217 kilometers northeast of Puerto Montt.

How to get there?

From the north: Land route, by South Longitudinal highway. Then take to Futrono.

From the south: Land route, by South Longitudinal highway. Then take to Puerto Nuevo.

When to go?

All year long, but not during March, April, May, June and July.


Rainy, moderate weather. This weather features rain all year long; in the interior, the temperature oscillates between day and night time.

Coique bay, Guapi Island, Calafquén Lake, Maihue Lake, Neltume Lake, Panguipulli Lake, Riñihue Lake, Coñaripe Beach, Mocho Choshuenco National Reserve, Coñaripe Springs.
