Tarapaca

Know Tarapaca

The town on Tarapacá Valley is another attraction that the first region had to offer. Located 29 kilometers east of Huara, in the town you can find historic vestiges from the Pacific War (Tarapaca was the old Peruvian Capital). The Eleuterio Ramirez house and the San Lorenzo Church are some of the buildings from that time. The Church has a Leonardo Da Vinci paint reproduction.
