Itinerary

Itinerary:

Day 01: Pucon.

Reception at the Temuco Airport or Pucón Bus Station to the selected hotel, day at leisure in Pucon.

Day 02: Ascension to Villarrica volcano – Termas del Huife.

We start at 07:00 hrs. the climb Villarrica Volcano (2.847 m.o.s.l.) to experience one of the most exciting experiences to reach the crater of Villarrica volcano and see the boiling lava. Go over the 200 meter diameter crater and listen to several simultaneous explosions as lava expands on the inner walls of the Andes. It requires good physical condition. The tour is approximately 4-5 hours of climbing and 2-3 hour descent.

Includes transportation, mountain guide, mountain boots, ice axes, crampons, gaiters, backpacks, glove, covers pant, National Park Villarrica tickets and accident insurance.

It is recommended to bring warm clothing, jacket, thermal pants or similar, long-sleeved shirt, 02 pairs of long socks to change, glasses, solar factor, camera, 1,5 liters of still water, 2-3 sandwiches, hard fruit, chocolate. It is further suggested almond raisin mix and isotonic fluid.

Difficulty: moderate - Hard.

At 18:00 hrs. Moving to Termas del Huife, well-deserved break to enjoy these waters warm and healthy in one of the most famous spas nationally and internationally.

Includes transportation, admission to all pools, including the semi-indoor whirlpool and a soft drink (beer, juice, mineral water).

We recommend bringing a bathing suit, towel, backpack or small bag to store their belongings. After the short break, transfer to selected hotel, accommodation.

Day 03: Tour to volcanic caves.

Easy Difficulty
At 10:00 am. transfer to the Volcanic Caves with a visit to the "Craft Fair", located a few meters from the entrance to the National Park Villarrica, to learn of volcanology, chronology of Villarrica lava tube and walk 350 meters in length. Below ground, 45 meters from the surface, we have the unique opportunity to observe the different formations of solidified lava along the route. The road in the beginning is irregular between volcanic rock and as we move forward, the path is more regular. Our guide will inform us what we're seeing all around the cave minerals in different colors, shapes and stalactites, attached to the contour of the walls. Already in our tour the guide asks us to turn off our lights and keep silent. The experience is amazing and unforgettable. Then we start back. At the end awaits us in the cafeteria hot chocolate to replenish energy and relive the experiences gained. Return to Pucon.

Includes local guide, entrance to the caves and hot chocolate at the end of the trail.

Bring warm clothes, glasses, solar factor and camera.

At 14:00 hrs. lunch at Restaurant in Pucon on behalf of passengers. At 16:00 hrs. visit the "Ojos del Caburgua” (Eyes of Caburgua), underground water from Caburga Lake. Later visit the lake of volcanic origin product of a plug of lava. At 18:00 hrs. Afternoon meal with field flavour at Family House "Doña Isidora" in Caburgua. A family atmosphere to enjoy a rich meal with the typical taste of the field. Run by the owners with the warmth of the southern family. 19:30 hrs. back to Hotel in Pucon and accommodation.

Day 04: Trekking in the National Park Huerquehue – Termas del Huife.

Moderate Difficulty
At 09:00 hrs. Trekking in National Park Huerquehue, considered one of the most beautiful parks of our country with 12,500 hectares comprised of streams, rivers, lakes, ancient forests, varied wildlife and the stunning Araucaria forest.

Includes transportation, entrance to the park, trekking guide and a backpack.

Bring warm clothes, trekking boots, sunglasses, Solar factor, camera, 1,5 liters of still water, 2-3 sandwiches, hard fruit, chocolate. It is further suggested almond raisin mix and isotonic fluid.

Day 05: Rafting – Free afternoon in Pucón.

moderate degree of difficulty.
At 10:30 hrs. Class III rafting to live a fascinating experience in the heavy waters of the Pucon river, pass several rapids in a very natural setting.

Includes transportation, entrance, Rafting Guide, neoprene suit and boots, gloves, life jacket, helmet, paddle, accident insurance. At the end coffee and biscuits.

Bring dry clothes to change, bathing suit, towel, sunglasses and Sun Protection Factor.

At 13:00 hrs. we went to Pucon for a refreshing lunch and recover the lost energy in Marmoni restaurant. It does not include soda, wine, drink or juice.

Day 06:
Breakfast and transfer to the scheduled time the bus station in Temuco.

End of services.

- Adventure Tourism activities such as the National Park Trekking and Rafting Huerquehue can develop while having showers or clouds in the area.
- The activity of visit to the Volcanic Caves can be done with any weather condition.
