Itinerary

Day 1: Carlos Ibáñez del Campo Airport – Puerto Natales
Reception at the Carlos Ibáñez del Campo Airport by the guide. Transfer through the Patagonian Pampa to Puerto Natales (3 hours). Lecture regarding the program, dinner and accommodation in Kau Lodge. (D)

Day 2: Puerto Natales – Torres del Paine National Park

We travel by van to the Torres del Paine National Park during 2 hours, going through typical estancias of the Patagonia. At noon, arrival in the Torres del Paine National Park, entering by the main gate of Laguna Amarga.
Trekking to Torres Base (7 hours, round trip). From this place the granite pink three towers have been photographed many times, turning this park worldwide famous. Accommodation and dinner at Refugio Torres, located in the Ascensio Valley and River (B/L/D)

Day 3: Torres del Paine National Park

5-hour trekking to the Los Cuernos Passage, bordering the Nordenskjold and Almirante Nieto hanging glacier. Dinner and accommodation at Refugio Los Cuernos (B/L/D)

Day 4: Torres del Paine National Park

French Valley Trekking, regarded as the most beautiful valleys in this National Park, surrounded by hanging glaciers and a rock amphitheater, turning it into a unique scene (4 hours). After that, trekking to the Pehoé Lake, owe-inspiring turquoise-colored lake (2 hours). Accommodation at the Paine Grande Mountain Lodge (B/L/D)

Day 5: Torres del Paine National Park

Walking through the charming Grey Lake (3-4 hours, 11 kms) with magnificent views of the Grey Glacier and the iceberg that come from it. Visit to the glacier viewpoint and the lake in order to watch the vibrating blue of the icebergs (Paine is a word in the Tehuelche people language, which means “blue”). Accommodation in the Refugio Grey and lunch. From the BigFoot camp base located in the northeastern coast of the Grey Lake. Here the guides hand over the needed equipment and lecture about safety in land. After that, they carry all the kayaks 20 meters to the boarding area. From this point the excursion starts, rowing through floating icebergs. Later, we will go to the eastern area of the Grey Glacier in order to enjoy and watch this stunning scenario. If climate conditions permitted, we will get close to the glacier. After that, we will return to the starting point. Accommodation and dinner at Refugio Grey (B/L/D)

Day 6: Torres del Paine National Park – Puerto Natales

Ice Hike. After breakfast, guides will make an introduction talk, when they will explain the tour, timming and they will probe and adjust the equipment of each passenger. After that, we will sail by zodiac boat during 15 minutes to the west area of the Grey Glacier. Once we have arrive, we will land on the Glacier Island (Nunatak) to walk over during 1 hour to get the ice. Before we enter the glacier, the guide will talk about safety, when he/she will explain the techniques we have to use due to the ice movement and the correct use of the equipment. Later we will discover the Grey Glacier during 3 hours, time to watch breaches, rivers, lagoons and tunnels with different shades of blue. Return. Lunch and disembarkation in the Grey II for a 2-hour sailing through magical icebergs. Transfer from Lago Grey hotel to Puerto Natales. Accommodation at the Kau Lodge and dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 7: Puerto Natales – Punta Arenas

Transfer to the Punta Arenas Airport. End of our services. (B)
