Two hours away from Santiago you will reach El Morado National Park, located in the Cajon del Maipo, among the Andes Mountain Range.

Itinerary

Two hours away from Santiago you will reach El Morado National Park, located in the Cajon del Maipo, among the Andes Mountain Range.
There, you will have the possibility to trek through a path that leads you, after two hours, to the El Morado Lagoon. You will be able to admire the majesty of San Francisco Glacier. You will also see and drink mineral waters coming out from the very deep of earth due to the volcanic activity of the area. The lagoon is located at 6.562 ft.

Itinerary

8:30AM Pick up and transfer of passengers from the hotel located in Santiago to El Morado Natural Monument, Cajón del Maipo, Metropolitan Region.

Trekking trought the Ventisquero path and first stop at the Panimávidas Water, water source that springs deep down from the earth.

Trekking time: 1 hour. Distance: 2.8 Km.

From Panimávidas Water we will continue to El Morado lagoon sector situated at 2.200 msnm.

Trekking time: 45 minutes. Distance: 2.2 Km.

From this lagoon we will continue to the base of San Francisco Glacier
Trekking time: 30 minutes. Distance: 2 Km.

Round trekking total time: 4 hours. Round Distance : 14 km

The arrival is contemplated at 7PM in Santiago.
