At the far end of the South American continent, within the remote and untamed terrain of the Chilean Patagonia, we invite you to discover one of the world’s most spectacular national parks, Torres del Paine.
There are many tracks that lead us through unspoilt Patagonian forests, with opportunities to observe never-ending blue skies and to marvel at the extraordinary local fauna. The surrounding mountains are some of the most incredible on the planet and the entire experience can be enjoyed from the warmth and comfort of the Hotel Las Torres.
Day 01: PUNTA ARENAS / CERRO NEGRO RANCH / TORRES DEL PAINE (April 2, 2015)
* Arrival in Punta Arenas.
* Transfer to Cerro Negro Ranch, a typical Patagonian ranch where guests are invited to enjoy an authentic sheep dog and sheep shearing show laid on by the ranch’s owner and his family.
* Lunch at the ranch.
* Arrival in Hotel Las Torres and a traditional welcome dinner.
Day 02: HOTEL LAS TORRES / AZUL LAGOON / HOTEL LAS TORRES (April 3, 2015)
* This is the perfect excursión for observing plant and animal wildlife. We will experience incredible landscapes where it’s possible to distinguish both the Torres del Paine and the enormous pampas that attract the majority of the explorers who choose to visit the region.
* We will visit Amarga Lagoon and discover the variety of organisms and species that inhabit the area.
* Later on, during the evening, we will enjoy a traditional lamb barbecue in the typical style of the Patagonian Region.
* Dinner and accommodation included.
Day 03: HOTEL LAS TORRES / PEHOÉ LAKE / GREY GLACIER / HOTEL LAS TORRES (April 4, 2015)
* Today, we discover the Torres del Paine National Park. We will visit the Nordensjoldt Viewpoint, the Cuernos Viewpoint, and the waterfall, Salto Grande. Along the route, we will have the chance to enjoy unbeatable views of the incredible Lake Pehoé and of the infamous Cuernos del Paine.
* During the afternoon, we will sail towards the imposing Glacier Grey; a glacier which forms part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, the largest expanse of ice on the planet, not including the Antarctic and the Arctic.
* Upon our return to the hotel, we will enjoy a few of Argentina’s traditional mates; a hot drink consumed by the inhabitants of this faraway land.
* Goodbye dinner and accommodation included.
Day 04: TORRES DEL PAINE / PUNTA ARENAS (April 5, 2015)
* Departure to Punta Arenas airport.
