Itinerary
Experience one of the most deluxe luxury honeymoons of the world. Puyuhuapi is one of the special romantic lodges in the Patagonia and South America. Visit one of the most exclusive romantic lodges.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Balmaceda - Puyuhuapi: Romantic journeys.
Our journey starts from Balmaceda Airport, with a brief trip through the Patagonian pampa of Aysén until we catch sight of the city of Coyhaique. We then make our way to a typical restaurant of the region, where a pisco sour and an exquisite lunch accompanied by Chilean wine await you.
We continue our journey by the Carretera Austral (Southern Highway) which enthralls with its exuberant vegetation where forests, cliffs, and mountains are the main attraction. Throughout the day, we will have crossed the Andes and finally arrived at our final destination, Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa. Time stops, we are in Patagonia, and you are invited to enjoy the “Encuentro con el Agua” (Water Encounter) in our spa. At 21:30 hrs., dinner will be served in the restaurant.
Days 2 and 3: Puyuhuapi Lodge & SPA: Pleasure, encounters, and adventures.
During these 2 days you will be able to enjoy the facilities of the cozy Lodge, with its thermal open air pools and complete spa with its large hydro massage pool, where we also offer facial and beauty treatments, thalassotherapy, and relaxation, hot stone, and other massages.
Ruca Alhué is a meeting point for guides and explorers of Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa. The options are varied: discover Bahía Dorita (Dorita Bay) by kayak, travel a stretch of wild beauty of the Carretera Austral, or explore Queulat National Park to observe the power of nature and to understand the process of glaciation to which this region has been witness. The paths allow us to get close and enjoy impressive views of the Hanging Glacier and the Pudú Snowdrift.
On the last night in Puyuhuapi Lodge, you will enjoy a 5 course meal, where a variety of products, flavors, textures, and colors are combined.
An absolute must: enjoy the romantic evenings in the thermal outdoor pools, under the rain and under the stars of Chilean Patagonia.
Day 4: Puyuhuapi - San Rafael Lagoon - Puerto Chacabuco: A day of memorable beauty.
06:15 hrs. wake up call, 06:55 hrs. all aboard the catamaran Patagonia Express. 07:00 hrs. the journey begins through the southern fjords aboard the catamaran to reach the Laguna San Rafael (San Rafael Lagoon). This trip in the catamaran Patagonia Express takes approximately 7 hours and its sailing route takes in different channels before finally entering the Laguna San Rafael, which is home to the millennial glacier. Sailing in a Zodiac boat between the ice floes is an awesome experience. After a stay of 2 hours, the return sail sets off towards Puerto Chacabuco, reaching port at around 22:30 hrs. to then be taken to a hotel right there.
Day 5: Puerto Chacabuco - Balmaceda
After breakfast, there is a bus journey along the road that borders the River Simpson from Puerto Chacabuco to Coyhaique, to then continue as far as the Balmaceda Airport.
