Day 1: City Tour Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas and Llanquihue Lake

Reception at the El Tepual airport in Puerto Montt to go to the hotel in Puerto Varas. Later, at 15:00 hrs., we will visit the cities of Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas, as following detailed:
We begin our tour for one of the most beautiful cities of the Los Lagos region. Puerto Varas is located on the banks of the Llanquihue Lake. It is known as the "City of the roses". Puerto Varas has an environment where German traditions coexist close to the Chilean culture, emphasizing the architecture in wood, beautiful gardens, gastronomy, and crafts. During the tour; it is possible to visit the church Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, the center, and Costanera Avenue.
We continue our tour to Port Montt, the regional capital. This city concentrates the major fishing and managerial activity of the region. Visiting this city located on the banks of the Pacific Ocean; it allows us to observe a panoramic view of its bay and of the Tenglo Island. In Puerto Montt there are different tourist points that heighten its beauty as the downtown with its cathedral and the market of seafood, coloring place where can observe the daily work of the fishermen and the market of crafts of Angelmó with a wide variety of products as copper, wool, wood, and lapislazuli. Return to Puerto Varas, accommodation.

Day 2: Tour to Frutillar

Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:45 hrs., we will initiate our tour for the west bank of the Llanquihue Lake. In our tour we will visit the Llanquihue's industrial city where we will accede to a rural way used by the farmers of the zone. Along the route, it is possible to observe the agricultural activity - cattle. Arriving to Frutillar, you can feel a different atmosphere where the pleasant life is mixed with beautiful gardens, coloring houses, and tea lounges. In its great Museo Colonial Alemán is shown the history of the German settlement in the region. Return to the hotel in Puerto Varas, rest of the day off, accommodation.

Day 3: Tour to Chiloé

Due to climatic conditions of the zone during the winter, this tour is realized of different ways depending of the period of the year:

- Between March 15th and October 14th:

This full day tour allows us to visit the north part of Chiloé's Island and Ancud's Gulf. We will be able to know the history, its forts, customs, and legends. After navigating Chacao's Channel during 30 minutes and observing a great variety of birds and marine lions, we will arrive to the village of the same name to visit its church and to observe this beautiful place with its houses of wood and colors. We will continue our trip towards Caulín's locality, characteristic cove dedicated to the extraction of seafood, marine algae, and culture of oysters. In addition this place is favored by the great quantity of migratory birds that come to the place. Then, we will continue to Ancud, the Chiloé's most important second city. We will visit its regional museum, the fort San Antonio, and the market of crafts. Bordering on the banks of Lacuy's peninsula, we will be able to see small villages of fishermen and collectors of alga glacilaria, which will lead us towards a place where we will be able to enjoy a solitary beach named Mar Brava. Return to the hotel in Puerto Varas, accommodation.

- Between el October 15th and March 14th:

This full day tour allows us to visit the north part of Chiloé's Island. After navigating Chacao's Channel during 30 minutes and observing a great variety of birds and marine lions, we will arrive to the village Chacao to visit the square and the church of the village. We will continue our trip to Dalcahue, where we will stop for an hour in the area of the coastal for a trek and to visit the market of crafts, museum, and church. Through the coastal route of Llao Llau, we will follow our trip to Castro, with time to have lunch. We will continue visiting the palafittes of Gamboas River, the square, and its church. Later, we will visit the last church of our tour in a locality named Nercón. Back in Ancud, we will visit the foundation Amigos de la Iglesia de Chiloé (Friends of Chiloé's Church), the square, and the fort San Antonio, to know the history, customs, and legends of this mythological island. Return to the hotel in Puerto Varas, accommodation.

Day 4: Tour to Petrohué

Breakfast at the hotel. At 08:30 hrs., we will initiate the excursion beginning the tour visiting the falls of the Petrohué River. Later we will arrive to Petrohué to embark in the navigation that will take us to Peulla, a small ecological village of 120 inhabitants. It is part of the famous tourist circuit Cruce Andino. The navigation has a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes approximately, from where can be observed the volcanoes Osorno, Puntiagudo, and Tronador, besides a privileged view of the Margarita island. In Peulla you have the opportunity to do some of the excursions of adventure (with additional cost for the passengers) as canopy, cavalcades, fishing excursions, ride in jetboat, and a safari offered in this paradise of the nature. These tours can be taken in the navigation. Return to Puerto Varas, accommodation.

Alternative Tour: Between October 15th and March 14th, it is possible to choose between realize the excursion to Petrohué or Volcano Osorno:

At 09:15 hrs., we will initiate the tour bordering the Llanquihue Lake for the whole south bank. We will have the opportunity to visit slightly more of the German settlement and the agriculture developed in the zone. Once in the national park Vicente Perez Rosales we will visit the world-famous falls of the Petrohué River. Later, we will come up to the origin of this river, in the lake Todos Los Santos, there we will visit its beaches of volcanic origin. Then, we will go towards the side of the volcano Osorno, we will stop in the village known as Ensenada where we will have time for lunch, and then continue up to Ski's Center of the Osorno volcano. In the trip we will see the whole valley of the Petrohué River and the Llanquihue Lake. The Ski's Center offers the option of using the chair lifts (additional cost for the passengers) to have a panoramic view of this wonderful zone. Return to the hotel in Puerto Varas, accommodation.

Day 5: Puerto Varas - Airport

Breakfast in Hotel, transfer to Airport in Puerto Montt.
