Itinerary
This reserve is located 40 kilometres to southwest of Punta Arenas and it has a surface over 18.000 hectares. it was created in 1977 in order to protect the lake “Parrillar”, which is one of the water reserves in the area. Fly fishing is one of the activities held in this lake populated by the rainbow and brown trout.
The excursion begins to the South bordering the mythical Strait of Magellan in order to take an unpaved road toward the entrance of “Parrillar” reserve. Upon arrival a one mile walk is held inside the reserve bordering the lake and later taking us through the Patagonian deciduous forest where others species of flora can be found such as Calafate, wild currant, sphagnum moss, and lichens. Some of the birds found in this wildlife area are austral thrush, chimango caracara, sparrow and crested caracara among others. The return is done by the same way.

Physical demand: One mile walk on an irregular area with soft ups and downs.
