Itinerary
- Explore the architecture and heritage of the island of Chiloé on this day tour from Puerto Varas!
- Our starting point will be Pargua, from where we will take a ferry to cross the Chacao Channel, which separates the mainland from the island of Chiloé.
- During our boat trip we can observe sea lions, pelicans and seabirds typical of this region.
- Our first stop will be Chacao, a small town where we can admire its typical larch wood buildings and also its churches, which have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
- We continue our trip to Dalcahue, where we will visit its Palafittes and the traditional market, with spectacular views of the churches.
- Finally, we will stop in Castro, capital of the island of Chiloé, where we will stop at the Mirador de Gamboa to take a beautiful picture of its world famous Palafittes.
