Antofagasta is the capital of the region, yet another big city in the northern border of the country. Its important development is due to the port and industrial activities in the zone. Antofagasta has an Industrial Village recognized for having high technology infrastructure. The nice weather conditions turn Antofagasta in a mandatory destination for visitors, who can enjoy tourist services, colorful landscapes, shopping centers, warm water beaches and natural and historic monuments.


Main urban center of the region. It offers tourist services and historical and cultural interest centers.

When to go?

All year long.

Climate Desert weather, with homogeneous temperatures in the shore. The high media temperature is 24,5ºC and the lowest is 17,1ºC. The rain is almost non existent due to couldiness, with a high media of 3 milimeters.
