Hotel Remota, a unique experience in Patagonia.

For those who travel to Patagonia, an important part of the plan is finding a place to stay. Choosing between camping and a comfortable stay at a hotel can be a tricky business, turning a relaxed but careless trip into heaven on earth.

Camping has its wonderful qualities, one of which is to be surrounded by nature and really experience the trip to the end of the world. But all that sacrifice is not necessary, because the alternative is to spend all those cold nights in a modern place, of exceptional beauty and the best attention available.

Hotel Remota is located in Puerto Natales, in the heart of Southern Patagonia, a four-hour flight away from Santiago. It is open all year, giving people from all over the world the opportunity to see the mosaic of colors that shows up in the sky in Patagonia, in winter and in spring, when the days are longer and the scenery comes to life.

The hotel itself is a work of art, built in accordance to the aesthetics of the place and in perfect composition with the blue sky and the green forests that surround it. On the inside of it, Remota keeps marveling with its noble materials and an incredible decoration style, soothing and inviting to relax and to escape from the cold in the big fireplace available in one of its living rooms.

With agreeable colors and a simple decoration, Remota offers 72 double rooms, all with private bathroom. A necessary space when it’s time to travel and cover Southern territory, knowing that once that night comes, there’s a warm bed waiting for us and keeping is comfortable until morning comes.

In those days that rain makes it impossible to go out for a walk and see the landscapes in Patagonia, the hotel has many alternatives under its roof. Living rooms, movies, conferences about nature and culture in Patagonia, sauna, fireplaces, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gift shop, reading room and massages; Remota has given thought to everything the visitor might require during his or her stay.

Considering food as one of the main attractions when you pick a place to travel to, Remota has constructed a varied menu that includes all the products that are grown in the area, meaning, fresh vegetables, fish and shellfish of the South Pacific. Its delicious meals, with a touch of elegance, can only be found in this amazing place.

When the weather allows it, you can also go on excursions to the surrounding areas, including big cities such as Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas, as well as natural destinations like Torres del Paine National Park. There is no view more breathtaking than the snowy mountains and the rays of the sun at dawn, a symphony that is well worth the cold and the distance.

Remota takes advantage of its name, taking the best of this faraway destination to turn it into a unique experience, where comfort is the protagonist and the various landscapes are the star, in the middle of the Chilean Patagonia.
