Yal

It is 18.5 centimeters long. Beak and legs are yellowish brown, and upper part is grey. Head and back have black stripes and the neck and chest are black. Its feathers are framed by white in the abdomen. Females are grey with brown stripes, the neck is white and it features a brown spot behind its eyes.

From Arica to Tierra del Fuego. In the north, you can find it over the 3000 meters above sea level.
