Chilean Antartic Territory

Get to know more about the Destination

it's the very last destination in the planet. The Chilean Antartic Territory is an interesting place in which you only can get by air or sea.

The Chilean Antartic holds the Chile and Fildes Bays, and the Drake Sea, in which you can find an exotic landscape and an amazing fauna that includes penguins.

Menawhile, Las Estrellas Village is a real urban center in the middle of nowhere. Located close to Presidente Frei Montalva and Profesor Julio Escudero Naval bases, the village is the only place you can find human services within the Antartic Territory.

The Chilean Antartic, an important scientific research center, is a natural sweet water reserve because of its huge icebergs and snowcaps. This characteristic turns it in a protected territory, pollution and harmful human intervention is not seen here.

The tourist activities are regulated, like the maritime tourism, to protect the wonderful flora and fauna.
