Itinerary

Canals and fjords: The crossing begins in Puerto Natales, sailing through the Kirke Narrows, heading towards the north through the Moral Vicuña, Seno Union, Collingwood and Sarmiento.

While navigating through these canals and fjords we commence to be fascinated with scenery of impressionable contrasts of lights and shades, where the mountains run into a sea that is dotted with Isles; lands furrowed with winds; a region in which the glaciers continue their slow work, pulverizing rocks, plowing out valleys and immense canals, that in past ages were explored by, amongst many others, legendary navigators such as Ladrillero, Darwin and Fitz Roy.

Tuesday or Friday:

From 16:00 hrs. reception of passengers, between 17:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs. Set sail from Puerto Natales, navigating the Patagonian Channels, Kirke Narrows, Channel Morla Vicuña, Unión, Collingwood and Sarmiento.

Wednesday or Saturday:

8:00 Hrs. Arrival at the Amalia Glacier. The spacecraft is approaching the glacier. Panorama from the boat.
9:15 hrs. Navigation starts doing the Glacier El Brujo.
11:00 hrs. Arrive at Glacier El Brujo, if the weather and ice conditions permit, can go down to see the Glacier from the nearest rock.
12:30 Departure to the Calvo Fjord.
Call at 14:30 hrs Calvo Fjord, is performed on a boat trip suited to navigate the ice, called Captain Constantine, visiting glaciers Fernando, Captain Constantine and Alipio, among others.
18:30. Sail the Fjord of the Mountains.

Thursday or Sunday:

09:00 Hrs. Visit the Fjord of the Mountains, where you can see five glaciers, which hang from the Cordillera Sarmiento sea, being two of them on our blog.
10:00 hrs Visit to the Bernal Glacier, walking through the vegetation to reach the base of this glacier and a visit to Glacier Bay to tour the Herman and appreciate its beauty and its icebergs of colors (this order will depend on the tidal conditions .) Later we will visit Glacier Alsina and Paredes.
17:00 Hrs. Set sail from the Firth of Mountains, Kirke Narrows Crossing.
21:00 Farewell Party, Captain's Dinner, dancing.
22:30 hrs. Landfall in the Skorpios Terminal in Puerto Natales.

Friday or Monday:

08:00 and 09:30 hrs. Passengers disembark for those who have contracted the service, transfer by bus to Punta Arenas airport (check prices).

End of services.

Transfers:
The transfers corresponding to the embarkation days (fridays and saturdays) and disembarkation day (thursdays), to and from the Airport in Punta Arenas, will have an additional cost.
ADDITIONAL LODGING SERVICE ON MONDAY OR THURSDAY NIGHT.
The Cruise sailing, according to the program, on Tuesday or Friday at 18.00 hrs. Passengers must be on board at the latest on Saturday at 17.00 hrs. We offer, as an additional service for passengers arriving the day before, lodging on board MV Skorpios III which includes: cocktail, dinner, breakfast and, full day tour to Torres del Paine National Park and Milodon Cave. Includes pic-nic lunch. The value of this service is US$370.- per person.
Recommendations:
• Dress for the Cruises is totally informal, casual & for adventure. Remember to bring both thick and light clothing, appropriate footwear, a suit & tie or formal wear for the farewell gala & a bathing suit for the thermal springs (only Aysen Adventure and San Rafael Classic Routes)
Important: • Aboard the Cruise Vessels is a shop with all of the articles appropriate for such a trip; rolls of film, batteries, t-shirts, hats, sweaters, parkas, etc.
• Children’s rate:
- From 1 to 5 years old: Free sharing bed.
- From 6 years up: Normal rate.
• Embarkation Boarding Tax: US$12.-
