Located at only two hours by plane from Santiago and 40 minutes from Osorno by car (X Region), this wonderful Hotel is part of the 117.000ha.(289.146 acres) of exuberant vegetation which constitute the imposing Puyehue National Park, Nature's Sanctuary.

Its land access is through the international road which links Chile and Argentina, crossing from coast to mountain range and going around the Puyehue lake,withwonderful views of the volcanoes and the lakeside area of the region. This road, fully paved, allows the connection of Termas de Puyehue with important points of interest of the region, such as Valdivia, Frutillar, Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt and San Carlos de Bariloche / Argentina.

Welcome to nature in Puyehue. Since 1908, Termas Puyehue has established in this thermal paradise, which waters have an enormous therapeutical quality and rise pure and natural from the bowels of the earth, among ancient native woods of Larch, Lingue, Maniu and Coigue trees, to enjoy a pleasant encounter with nature.

There you can spend different activities on land and water sports, such as fishing; horseback riding; excursions to watch the flora and fauna; sailing; hikes through the forest, by the lakes, rivers and cascades. ACTIVITIES

For recration and sports we offer different options for begginers, experts, children, young people and adults, with equipment and guides which will lead and instruct you, developing amusing programs.

You can also make tors to Puerto Montt, Frutillar, Puerto Varas and Bariloche / Argentina, mountain bike circuits and sport fishing in Gol-gol river from November to April. If you prefer water sports, you can choose sailing, windsurfing or water-skiing and in winter you can practice skiing in a nearby mountain resort.

For those who prefer physical activity, we offer a special program of exercises with modern equipment, as well as play tennis in our special tennis courts.

Among other activities, you will make:
-Fresh air breathing hikes by beautiful paths through Cinnamon trees, Coigues, Laurel trees, Ulmos, Cypresses and Myrtles
-Walks to El Mirador (Outlook) with a wonderful view of the Hotel and El Mirador lots;
-Walks to Chanlelfu Rapids, going through meadows with wonderful views until you reach a cascade and the river, walking among luxuriant ferns and woods;
-Walks to the thermal fountains, until you get to the thermal springs where the Hotel obtains the water, wich rises from a well;
-Agrotouristic hikes to the country. You will learn about flowers and vegetable culture.
-Ride to La Turbina (Turbine). Little electric power plant built between 1938 and 1939,which provides electricity to the Hotel;
-Ride to La Leona (Lioness). You will cross Trefoil, Ballica and Daisy meadows by Chanlelfu river, until you reach Pichichanlelfu ravine, an extraordinary beautiful landscape;
-Observation excursions of the flora and fauna of Puyehue National Park;
-Excursions to the Salto del Indio (Indian Waterfall) and Salto de los Novios (Newlyweds Fall) through beautiful pampas and small falls, you will reach the Gol-gol river. After that, one can visit the Customs in the border with Argentina and then return by the Refugio del Lago (Lake Shelter);
-Speed boat excursions through Puyehue lake visiting Cui-cui island;
-Excursions to Antillanca, going through glacier lakes, until you get to El Toro (The Bull) lagoon and then the Mirador (Outlook) Los Mallines. From there you will appreciate the magnificence of Casablanca volcano to finally reach Antillanca Ski Center wich offers many ski slopes wich difference degrees of difficult. From its top you can watch the breathless view of Puyehue, Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes, Puntiagudo, Tronador and Yate hills and Puyehue, Rupanco and Llanquihue lakes. When returning, there is a visit to Aguas Calientes (Hot Waters), a beautiful place which cottages, restaurants and two hotsprings-pools, river and suspension bridge.
