We invite you to get to know the snow-capped Osorno Volcano, a figure that reign over the landscape of the Lake District, its stunning views, its owe-inpiring scenary and meet one of the extinct crater of the volcano.
To get to Osorno Volcano, we travel for 50 minutes along the southern shore of the Llanquihue Lake, watching the beautiful countryside landscape that decorates the lakeside route along the way. At the base of the volcano we arrive in the village of Ensenada, where we begin our ascent, entering the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. We will stop along the climb to appreciate the panoramic view of the Petrohué River Valley and see one of the volcano’s extinct craters. We also stop at a viewpoint where we will be able to see the full extent of the Llanquihue Lake. At the end of the path, we get to the ski center and its cafeteria, where you can use the chairlifts (not included) for an even better view of the scenery.
