La Campana National Park - Ancient Forest Hike

Follow the footsteps of Darwin with this tour and visit to La Campana National Park with a full day excursion.
We will depart early in the morning from your hotel in Santiago heading to Coast Mountain Range (Cordillera de la Costa).
We will follow Charles Darwin footsteps, who visited the La Campana National Park and was surprised by the wide range of species. La Campana National Park was created in 1967. With 8,000 hectares, it is a privilged area where to watch Chilean flora and fauna. It was declared Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO.
It features one of the last Palma Chilena (Chilean palm) forest, endangered tree.
Here, we will tour specially designed paths to enjoy deeply the park and one of of the most famous natural and unique areas in the central area of Chile. Moreover, we will have the chance to walk toward a 30-meter waterfall.
07:00 Departure from the hotel.
08:30 Stop at gas station to buy food or eat breakfast, Not included in tour.
10:00 Arrival at La Campana National Park, starting the hike four hours round trip.
13:00 Arrival at “La Cascada”. Time to lunch.
16:00 Arrival at “Mirador las Palmas” . Return to Santiago
19:00 Arrival at hotel in Santiago.

- Price for children: Younger than 23 months old: free (transportation does not have infant seats), passengers from 2 to 11 years old pay 65% of the rate and passenger from 12 years old pay full price. The activities with children must be informed in order to evaluate if the minimum conditions are met.
