Full day tour with Trekking to Huerquehue National Park, to visit one of the most beautiful parks in Chile with 12,500 hectares. You will walk on trails that have an elevation from 750 m to 1350 m of altitude, for which you must have some physical preparation, so that you can sustain the pace. On the way, you will see some attractions such as Tinquilco Lake, Chico Lake, Verde Lagoon, Toro Lagoon and, of course, the native forest that makes up the park, as well as the birds that are there permanently, such as woodpeckers, pigeons and eaglets, among others. After 6 hours of hiking in which you will complete a distance of 10 km, you will start the return by vehicle to Pucón to finish the activity.

The best time to visit Pucón is during spring and summer (November to March), when the weather is warm and pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 18°C to 30°C, ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, rafting, and water sports on Lake Villarrica. If you prefer winter tourism, June to September is the season for skiing and snowboarding on the Villarrica Volcano, although temperatures can be colder and the area can receive snow.
Advanced experience is not necessary to enjoy most of the activities in Pucón. Tours and activities, such as rafting on the Trancura River, are designed for both beginners and more experienced people. For the ascent of the Villarrica Volcano, although a minimum of physical condition is required, it is done in guided groups, which facilitates the experience. However, some activities, such as skiing or snowboarding, require experience or lessons for beginners.
Yes, Pucón and its surroundings are generally safe for trekking, but it is important to be prepared and follow the recommendations of local guides. For more challenging activities such as the ascent of the Villarrica Volcano, it is recommended to do it with a certified guide who knows the route and the safety conditions.
