Itinerary

Arrival in El Tepual Airport in Puerto Montt, reception and transfer to hotel in Puerto Varas. Rest of the day at leisure. Lodging.

Breakfast in the hotel. Half day visit to the beautiful city of Frutillar located in the opposite border of the Llanquihue Lake. In Frutillar you can embrace the relaxed atmosphere full of colored houses, vibrant gardens, tea rooms and the modern Teatro del Lago. Discover this charming lakeside destination, with a landscape formed by the Llanquihue Lake and several stunning volcanoes. You can see the influence of the German settlers, with the spectacular old cottages, many converted into guest houses, the delicious Bavarian gastronomy as well as the kuchens and apple strudel sweets. Located on the eastern bank of Llanquihue Lake, Frutillar charms visitors with its beauty all year round. On our tour, we will take a rural road used by the local farmers, where we can see the agriculture and the cattle which are so common to the region. You will also discover another reason to fall in love with Frutillar - the Teatro del Lago.

Breakfast in the hotel. At the according hour, pick up from the hotel for a stunning adventure tour, combined by bus and ship to get to Peulla. The transfer is by bus down to Petrohué, in this place you will board a ship. This ship travels through the turquoise water of Todos los Santos Lake up to Peulla, a shantytown located near to the Argentinean border. Arrival in Hotel in Peulla. Lodging and dinner.

Breakfast in the hotel. At the according time, continuing the Andean Crossing heading to the city of Bariloche. We will travel through the Blest Port and Pañuelos Port. Arrival in Bariloche. End of our services.

The best time to visit Puerto Varas is during the spring and summer season (November to March), when the weather is warmer and outdoor activities, such as hiking and sailing, are more pleasant. Autumn (April-May) is also a good time to enjoy the fall scenery and less crowds of tourists.

The climate in Puerto Varas is temperate, but can be very variable, with frequent rainfall and temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C during spring and summer. Comfortable, layered clothing is recommended, including a waterproof jacket, hiking boots and hat or cap. Although it is an all-season tourist destination, it is important to be prepared for cold and rain.

No previous outdoor experience is necessary to enjoy most of the tours in Puerto Varas. Many excursions are designed for people of all ages and activity levels, such as boat trips on Lake Todos los Santos or short hikes to the Petrohué Falls. However, some activities, such as trekking to the Osorno Volcano or longer excursions, may require moderate fitness.

Although not always strictly necessary, it is recommended to book in advance during the high season (November to March) to ensure a place on the most popular tours.

Muy buenos tours y excelentes guías. Solo el tour al cerro catedral en Bariloche, creo que no me gustó mucho, porque no había mucho que hacer en el lugar, no porque el tour estuviera malo.

Que los autobuses fueran un poco más amplios, hay poco espacio entre asientos.
