    Itinerary

We depart at 09:00 am from the hotel in Iquique heading to La Pampa, where we will visit the Nitrate Factory-servicing town of Santa Laura and Santiago Humberstone, both declared National Monument. Here we will discover the splendid past of the so-called "White Gold". We make a brief stop in Pozo Almonte.

After that, we will visit the Pintados Geoglyphs, located 96 kilometers away from Iquique and 1000 meters above the sea level. It is a group of more than 350 figures drawn over the slopes of the Coastal Mountain Range, distributed in thematic groups representing animal, geomethric and human shapes. This art was used in the past as guide by the native culture of the area in the routes from the coast to the mountain range. This figures were also used as a ritual representation.

    Return to Iquique.
