Forestal Park is a beautiful place right by the Mapocho River in the middle of the city.

Created by Jorge Dubois, the park is a display of the 19th century aesthetic.

In it you can find the German Fountain, the Independence Witters Monument, Bruna Palace, The Fine Arts National Museum and the Contemporian Art Museum (MAC), and others.

Metropolitan region. Located in Santiago, Mapocho River south shore.

How to get there?

To Santiago: Airway, to the Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport. Also, land route, by Route Panamericana 5.

From Valparaiso: Land route, by Cuesta La Dornida (Route 68)

You can access to the Forestal Park through Bellas Artes and Baquedano Metro Stations (subway)

When to go?

All year long.

Mediterraneo weather. There is a dry season and rains during winter time. The annual media temperature is 14ºC, and the annual media precipitations is 356.2 milimeters.
