With 877 squared kilometers of surface, the Llanquihue lake is one of the biggest hydrographical resources in the country, right after the General Carrera Lake.
Its vegetation is one of its main attractions, as well as its ideal water to practice aquatic sports. There are imporant flora and fauna speciments in the area, wuch as foxes, güiñas, chingues, cernicalos and torcazas.
If you visit the Llanquihue Lake, you will see the architectural beauties of the zone, mainly in Puero Varas, Puerto Octay and Frutillar.
