Know Chacao
Chacao is the channel that connects the continent to the Chiloe Island, but it also holds a small town of the same name. It has an incredible architecture; churches that were build by the Spanish during the XVI century; all of great historical and cultural value.

How to get there: From Santiago: Airway to El Tepual Airport in Puerto Montt. Then, land route.
From Puerto Montt: Land route, by Route 5 to Pargua. Then, seaway to Chacao.
From Ancud: Land route, by Route 5 north direction.
When to go: All year long.
Weather: Rainy, moderate weather. This weather features rain all year long; in the interior, the temperature oscillates between day and night time.
