Meet the legendary Moon Valley, which leads you to experience unique sensations combining mystical and beautiful landscapes.

departure from the hotel heading Moon Valley. We will continue through the way on the Salt Mountain Range, where we will take a detour in order to get to know the beautiful valley, which was the old path where the sulfur was transported from San Pedro de Atacama.
Here we will appreciate the Dinosaur Valley and the Death Valley, where we will enjoy an owe-inspiring panoramic view of the surrounding. We will continue to Moon Valley, where we will find geological formations, which are the consecutive result of the terrestrial surface. During the evening, the appearance of this place is a daring pallet, which will stun with its golden and red the soul and the sensibility of men.
Nineteen km Away from San Pedro, in the Salt Mountain Range, the Moon Valley is located, declared Natural Sanctuary and Natural Monument, protected due to its unique landscape. It is formed by a valley surrounded by small hills with impressive sharp-shape tops. This tour is a magical trip through landscapes, which not belong to our world, but they are a reflection of other planets. In this valley, we will appreciate the salt-made sculptures known as Las Tres Marías, formed by the wind erosion. We will visit the old salt sites where we will get to know the “sal gema”, mineral that looks like the quartz, and it is petrified salt belonging to the mineral deposit in some areas.
Following the excursion, we will make a hike through the interior of the remaining caves of the old deposits, in order to get closer to the Valley where the Great Duna is located. After a break, we will climb this Great Dune, which stuns due to its large size and it is place where extreme sports are carried out such as the snowboard. Later, we will enjoy the sunset in the Moon Valley, one of the most beautiful natural settings of the northern part of Chile.
End of our services.
