Its beautiful and bright plumage is brown olive in the upper body, and yellow on the back with a grey strip across its forehead. Its tail is yellow, and its chest has a red spot in the center with blueish feathers around it. The beak is grey, its legs are red and its tummy is brown-grey with a grey or white strip.
