Know Encanto Valley
Important place because of its archaeological value, the Encanto Valley has been a National Monument since 1973. Administrated by the Ovalle Municipality, and with 2 kilometers of extension, the valley shows vestiges of the Molle culture.Destination's information:

How to get there: Anywhere-La Serena: Land route, by Panamericana Highway north (473 kilometer)
Santiago, Arica, Iquique, Antofagasta, Copiapo-La Serena: Airway.
La Serena-Encanto Valley: Land route, by Panamericana Highway Route 5 North, until Ovalle. Then take Route D-45 east.
When to go: All year long.
Weather: The annual temperature is 23ºC during summer time, and in winter time the temperature reaches 7ºC. The media annual rain is 113 milimeters, although in the park the rain oscillates between 800 and 1000 milimiters.
