NAHUELBUTA NATIONAL PARK
Know Nahuelbuta National Park
Created in 1939, the park was a sacred place for the Mapuche people. It has 6.832 hectares filled with amazing flora and fauna, all protected by CONAF. The Nahuelbuta National Park includes mountains that are located 1500 meters above the sea level. Here, you can find pudues, pumas, and chilotes foxes, and an exhuberant vegetation of araucarias, oaks and coigües, among others. The park is a scientific investigation center. Also, it features paths and camping zones.
