Magic program with visit to Torres del Paine National Park, cave of the prehistorical animal Milodon, lakes, blackforest and the magnificient Patagonia Glaciers
Itinerary
Season: May to September.
Departures: Friday.
Day 01: Punta Arenas - Puerto Natales.
Reception at Punta Arenas airport (we recommend taking the first flight to Punta Arenas, arriving before 12:00 hrs.) Transfer to the city, free time (lunch on behalf of passengers). After lunch departure to visit Fuerte Bulnes, subsequent transfer to the local terminal to take regular bus for the city of Puerto Natales. Duration 03:15 hrs. Arrive to the city. Transfer from terminal to hotel, accommodation and lodging.
Day 2: Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine National Park.
Breakfast. At 07:30 hrs. departure from your hotel to begin the full-day excursion that will drive us to imposing Cueva del Milodon Natural Monument and later to Torres del Paine National Park, with beautiful view of its mountains and lakes as "Sarmiento", "Nordenskjold" and "Pehoe". Its rich "fauna" will be present through "guanacos” and "foxes", among others, besides a large number of birds, readily observable during the trip. A short trek will take us to the "Salto Grande", a great waterfall flowing from the rivers of the park. Then, returning to the main road accessing the administrative headquarters of CONAF to continue to the "Lake Grey" where after to walk (30 minutes) through a "millenium forest" we will get to its beach, where you can admire a great deal of icebergs derived from the glacier. A box lunch is included in the service. At 19:30 hrs. we return to hotel in Puerto Natales. Lodging. (B,BL)
Day 3: Puerto Natales – Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier - Punta Arenas.
Continental breakfast. Departure from your hotel to local pier to start shipping to Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers. This sailing lasts about 4 hours to Bernardo O´Higgins National Park. During the trip we will be able to observe the first local cattle ranches, cormorants and sea lions colonies, beech forests waterfalls and cliffs, the perfect home of majestic condor. Later we will approach land on "Puerto Toro" docking area, from where we will start a short trek to "Serrano Glacier", crossing a native forest and the lake's shore. A box lunch type. At approximately at 17:30 hrs. return to Puerto Natales city. At the scheduled transfer to address regular bus bound for Punta Arenas, 3:15 hours trip. Reception at terminal and transfer to your hotel.(B,L)
Day 4: Punta Arenas.
At time to confirm transportation to the airport. (B)
