Know Vicuña

Vicuña is the main urban center of the Elqui Valley. Founded in 1821 and located 620 meters above sea level, the town offers a beautiful landscape and different tourism services. With 22.570 inhabitants, Vicuña has beautiful adobe architecture. Some of the constructions are the Bauer Tower, the parroquial church, the Cabildo room, the Historical Museum, the Gabriela Mistral Museum and Library and the Madariaga House and Museum. Other attractions are the Main Square, Pisco Capel Industry, Virgen Hill Balcony and the Municipal Observatory of Cerro Mamalluca.
