It can be about sixty inches high on the surface. It is a small bush. Its trunk grows under the mud in marches, and its leaves cover all its branches, completely. It blooms between November and February, its fruit is hard and about 4 mm long.
Distribucion
Between Valdivia and Magallanes.
Habitat
In high marshes.
