    Know Serrano River

    Serrano River is the Torres del Paine National Park´s main fluvial network and one of its natural frontiers. It has 38 kilometers of extention and its volume allows visitors to practice fly fishing and other aquatic sports. The navigation and other aquatic activities are also possible in this river which waters drain of in the Toro Lake.

    How to get there: Santiago-Punta Arenas: Airway.
    Punta Arenas-Puerto Natales: Land route, by Route 9 north.
    Puerto Natales-Torres del Paine National Park: Land route.
    Santiago- Puerto Montt: Land route and airway.
    Puerto Montt-Puerto Natales: Seaway.
    Puerto Natales-Serrano River: Seaway, by Ultima Esperanza Fjord.

    When to go: January, February, March, April, August, September, October, November, December.

    Weather: Trasandino weather, with ice in high places. The summer media temperature reaches 10,8°C, with a maximum media of 23,5°C and a minumum media of 0,85°C in the same season.

    Entrance from Torres del Paine National Park, which has different prices depending on the season:
    -Between October and April: $2500 Chilean pesos for national adults and $6500 Chilean pesos for foreing adults. Kids pay $500 Chilean pesos.
    -Between May and September: $1500 Chilean pesos for national adults and $3500 Chilean pesos for foreing adults. Kids pay $500 Chilean pesos.
