Torres del Paine National Park Excursion

Our excursion starts from 08:00 to 08:30 am with the pick up in the hotel. Our first destination is the worldwide known Milodon Cave where, in 1895, the bones of a Pre-historical animal where discovered. Nowadays, there is a replica of this animal and detailed information of the glaciological process of this cave formation. Later, we will head to Cerro Castillo town where we will be able to rest and enjoy the cafeteria service and perhaps buy some souvenir.
After that, we will head to the Torres del Paine National Park where we will be able to see the first landscapes in the Sarmiento Lake viewpoint, the Torres del Paines, Paine Horns and the Almirante Nieto Mountain. Regarding the fauna, we will have the chance to watch: guanacos, rheas and the inspiring flight of the condor, and once we have arrive in the park, we will watch foxes, hares, chincol bird and the called South American lion: the Puma, beside a rich and varied flora.
Once inside the park we will visit the turquoise-water lakes such as the Pehoé and Nordenskjold Lakes, waterfalls and ice-covered mountains. A 15-minute walking through the park will be needed to get closer to Salto Grande Waterfall.
After lunch, our visit will continue with a walking by the shores of the Grey Lake, where we will watch the stunning icebergs, and, in the background, the owe-inspiring Grey Glacier. Depending on the needs, we will return through the same way or through the new way to your hotel.
