Itinerary

Departure from Santiago Airport to board your flight to Puerto Natales.
Upon arrival at Puerto Natales Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure.
Accommodation in Puerto Natales at the hotel of your choice, including breakfast.

Experience an unforgettable day trip from Puerto Natales, exploring some of the most iconic landscapes of Chilean Patagonia while combining history, nature, and spectacular scenery in a single excursion.
The adventure begins at the Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument, an impressive cave more than two hundred meters deep, famous for the discovery of the remains of a milodón, an ancient giant ground sloth that inhabited this area more than ten thousand years ago.
We will then continue to Torres del Paine National Park, crossing the characteristic landscapes of Patagonia, where it is possible to spot guanacos, rheas, and a wide variety of flora and fauna. During the tour, we will visit some of the park’s main viewpoints and lagoons and take a short hike to Salto Grande, where the waters of the Paine River cascade forcefully through a spectacular natural setting.
The excursion continues to Grey Lake, where we will walk to a viewpoint offering privileged views of the icebergs calved from Grey Glacier, floating on the lake and creating a truly unique landscape.
At the end of the day, we will return to Puerto Natales.

The hikes are of easy difficulty, with short uphill and downhill sections, so no previous experience is required.

Important: Entrance fees to Torres del Paine National Park and Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument are not included and must be purchased directly at www.pasesparques.cl. We recommend purchasing them in advance and for two days or more, as you will also need the entrance fee the following day for the Grey Lake Navigation.

Discover the breathtaking beauty of Grey Glacier, one of the main attractions of Torres del Paine National Park. The glacier descends from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field and ends at Grey Lake, where the large blocks of ice that break away from its front float across the lake’s waters.
The excursion begins with a transfer from Puerto Natales to Hotel Lago Grey, where check-in will take place. From there, a walk of approximately 30 minutes along Grey Beach begins. The trail is about three kilometers long and exposed to the wind, leading to the pier where you will board the Grey III catamaran.
The navigation takes approximately one hour to reach the area in front of the glacier. During the journey, you will sail among icebergs surrounded by forests and mountains before reaching the impressive face of Grey Glacier. Here, you can admire its characteristic blue tones and deep ice crevasses. A pisco sour or soft drink will be served on board.
The return journey follows the same route back to the pier.

Important regarding the walk: during periods when the Pingo River’s water level rises, Hotel Lago Grey offers a boat transfer that allows passengers to avoid the walk.

Restrooms are available at both Hotel Lago Grey and on board the catamaran. The navigation route may be modified depending on weather conditions.

At the end of the excursion, return to your hotel in Puerto Natales.

Embark on a unique journey through Última Esperanza Fjord to discover the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers, two impressive natural wonders located within Bernardo O’Higgins National Park, approximately 31 miles northwest of Puerto Natales. These glaciers can only be accessed by sea, in an environment of virtually untouched nature.
The navigation begins at Puerto Bories Pier, approximately 15 minutes from downtown Puerto Natales. During the journey through the fjord, you will discover part of Patagonia’s history and see the old buildings of the Bories Cold Storage Plant, once one of the region’s main meat-processing facilities.
The route continues through native forests, where you may spot imperial cormorants and colonies of sea lions, as well as native vegetation such as coigüe, canelo, lenga, ñire, chilco, and calafate.
Balmaceda Glacier can be admired from the boat, while reaching Serrano Glacier involves an easy walk of approximately 20 minutes along a trail bordering the lagoon formed by the glacier’s melting ice.
On the return journey, the boat stops at Estancia Perales, where a traditional regional lunch will be served.
The navigation route may be modified depending on weather conditions.
At the end of the excursion, upon returning to the Puerto Natales pier, you will be transferred to your hotel.
