Money

Chilean Peso
Chile's official currency is the peso, which circulates in coins of 1,5,10,50,100 and 500 pesos, and bills of 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10.000 and 20.000.
Exchange
There are several money exchange offices in the capital and in all over the country.
ATMs
ATMs in Chile are part of a network called REDBANC, so they all feature the banks they work with, with logos on the machines. You can find them at malls, gas stations, grocery stores and banks, 24 hours.
Credit Cards
You can use American Express, Diners Club, Master Club and Visa credit cards. In rural town you may not find places that accept the cards.
