Itinerary
Day 1: Santiago Airport - Santiago - City Tour Santiago
Reception at Santiago Airport and transfer to the selected hotel.
By the afternoon city tour in Santiago.
Santiago is a mixture between the old and the modern, characteristic that we invite you to know. Our tour through Santiago will show the immensity of the city, its varied geography and civility. We will guide you through the Main Square of Santiago, where the Cathedral, Main Post Office and City Hall are located. You will be told about the origins of our city. Next stop is the civic neighborhood and the surroundings of La Moneda Government Palace. After that we will be driven through some of the old neighborhoods of Santiago, such as Republica and Concha y Toro neighborhoods, Later, we will visit the eastern part of the city and we will see the modern buildings and the changes that they have brought to the neighborhood. We finish our tour in a handicraft store, located in an exclusive neighborhood, where we will appreciate Lapizlazuli masterpieces, made with this stone that only exists in Chile and Afghanistan.
Return tothe hotel and lodging.
Day 02: Santiago - Valparaíso - Viña del Mar
Breakfast buffet served in hotel restaurant. We will begin our tour from the hotel, in a 120-kilometer trip towards the Pacific Ocean. Our "Garden city", Viña del Mar, will charm us with its architecture, its streets, palaces, and Quinta Vergara. We will have the possibility to know a Moai statue from Easter Island and a handcraft store of lapizlasuli (Faba). We will be driven by the coastal border and visit the port city of Valparaiso dating back 1536. The city was declared World Heritage by Unesco and it is currently the site of the legislative power of Chile. It is a magical place of unique and unforgettable landscapes with colorful neighborhoods and picturesque funicular elevators. We will visit Sotomayor Square and the port, where we can navigate through Valparaiso Bay. In the evening return to Santiago.
Day 03 : Santiago - Santiago Airport - Punta Arenas Airport - Puerto Natales
Reception at Punta Arenas airport (we recommend taking the first flight to reach Punta Arenas before 12:00 pm) free time, lunch on behalf of passengers. Transfer to bus terminal to take bus towards the city of Puerto Natales (03:15 hours trip). Arrival in the city, transfer to hotel, accommodation and lodging.
Day 04: Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine National Park.
Breakfast. At 07:30 am departure from your hotel to begin the full-day excursion that will take us first to the imposing Monumento Natural Cueva del Milodon, and later, the Torres del Paine National Park, where the welcome is a beautiful panoramic view of the Paine Mountain Range. In addition, we will admire lakes as Sarmiento, Nordenskjold and Pehoe. Its rich fauna will be through guanacos and foxes, among others, besides a large number of birds readily observable during the trip. A short walk will take us to the "Salto Grande" a mighty waterfall, part of the hydrographic network of the park. Then, returning to the main road accessing the administrative headquarters of CONAF to continue to the "Lago Gray" where after a short trek (30 minutes) in the middle of a forest millennial came to the beach where you can admire a large number of icebergs derived from the glacier. A lunch box lunch is included in the service. At 7:00 pm provides approximately the arrival to Puerto Natales. Accommodation.
Day 05: Perito Moreno Glacier - Calafate. (Exhausting day)
Breakfast. At approximately 06:30 am with regular bus connections from Puerto Natales. This will be a long day and will take a 5-hour trip (360 kms) to get to Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina. Not always crossing Chile to Argentina means crossing the Andes. In our case, in Patagonia, the Andes Mountain Range is part of the Patagonian Archipelago. Thus, after crossing the border line, the landscape will be the vast and windy Patagonian steppe.
During the tour, it will be possible to see in the distance the Argentino Lake and the Santa Cruz River going to the Atlantic Ocean. After our arrival in Calafate, we will have a short period at disposal. Then we will continue another 80 kms until we get the park to start the excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier, unique glacier growing in the world. We will access the walkway where by several stairs joining different viewpoints, this ice giant can be seen. The return will be through the same way with 1 hour to visit the city of Calafate. At approximately 10:30 pm return to Puerto Natales city. Lodging.

Day 06: Puerto Natales – Sailing to Glaciers. (21 de Mayo ship)
Breakfast. At 7:30 am transfer from your hotel to local pier. At 08:00 am departure in a sailing excursion to Balmaceda Glacier and Serrano Glacier. This sailing lasts about 4 hours to Bernardo O'Higgins National Park. During the trip we will be able to observe the first local cattle ranches, cormorants and sea lions colonies, beech forests waterfalls and cliffs, the perfect home of majestic Condor. Once in the park we will get to Monte Balmaceda that show us, from its eastern slope, the glacier of the same name. Later we will approach land on Puerto Toro docking area, from where we will start a short trek to Serrano Glacier crossing a native forest and the lake's shore. Box lunch included. At approximately 5:00 pm return to Puerto Natales to take the regular bus who will get us back to the city of Punta Arenas. Transportation to hotel. Lodging.
Day 07: Punta Arenas – Punta Arenas Airport - Puerto Montt Airport - Puerto Varas
Breakfast. At the according time, we will transfer to the Punta Arenas airport.Flight to Puerto Montt. Reception in the El Tepual Airport (Puerto Montt) transfer to the hotel in Puerto Varas. Accommodation.
Day 08 : Puerto Varas - Puerto Montt - Chiloé Island - Castro - Dalcahue
Join us to enjoy this full day tour, which will allow us to visit the northern part of Chiloé Island. After a 30-minute trip by ferry, watching a wide variety of birds, we will get to a small village called Chacao to visit the Main Square and the church. We will go to Dalcahue, where we will stop at the promenade to walk and visit the handicraft market, museum and church. Time to lunch. We will continue to Castro city through a coastal road. We will head to the Gamboa River stilt houses, the Main Square and its church. We continue to a small village known as Nercón to visit the last church of our journey. Return to Puerto Varas.
Day 09 : Puerto Varas - Petrohue - Osorno Volcano
Breakfast. Departure from the hotel. A lake born in a glacier and an active volcano are two must-see you cannot miss. We will visit the Fundo Playa Venado, countryside and livestock. Once inside the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, we will visit the worldwide known Petrohué Riverfalls, with turquoise colors that delight travelers. Then, we will head to the origin of this river: the Todos los Santos Lake, to visit its volcanic sand beaches and the Museo de los Colonos (Settlers Museum - not included). After that, at the foothill of the Osorno Volcano, we will stop at the village of Ensenada before we continue up to the Osorno Volcano Ski Center, where we will enjoy time for a lunch and the surroundings. Return to Puerto Varas.
Day 10 : Puerto Varas – Puerto Montt Airport - Santiago Airport - Calama Airport – San Pedro de Atacama
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Puerto Montt airport. Flight to Santiago to take the fligh to Calama. Reception and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, from the airport to Calama. Lodgging.
Day 11 : San Pedro de Atacama - Altiplanic Lagoons - Atacama Salt
Departure at 08:30 am from your hotel. Visit the Toconao town, typical handicrafts of the Atacama area (llama wool, alpaca, cactus wood and volcanic stone), also the San Lucas Tower (National Monument and town symbol). The travel includes the visit to the Atacama Salt Flat in the Los Flamencos National Reserve (Chaxas Lagoon site). We will continue our trip to the altiplano to get to the Miscanti and Miñiques lagoons (4150 m.s.n.m.). In the middle of our route, we will have a little stop in the Socaire (3200 mts.) town to get acclimatized and take photos of the small San Bartolomé church. Return to San Pedro at 7:00 pm approximately.
Day 12: San Pedro de Atacama - Archaeological Tour - Moon Valley
Breakfast at the hotel. At 09:00 hrs. Visit to the Pukará del Quitor, the Salt Mountain Range and the Catarpe (Incas) ruins. Arrival in the Tulor ruins with more than 3000 years old. Return to San Pedro through the Séquitor Ayllu. Return to the hotel at 1:00 pm. At 3:30 pm, departure from the hotel to the Moon Valley. In the way which join San Pedro with Calama,we will enjoy a photo stop to take photos of the Salt Mountain from a viewpoint. After that, once in the Moon Valley, we will visit the salt statues “Las Tres Marías”, the salt mine, the salt caverns and we will look the evening from big sand dune. Return to the hotel. Lodging.
Day 13: San Pedro de Atacama - Tatio Geysers - Andean Towns - Calama Airport - Santiago Airport - Santiago
Departure at 05:30 am from the hotel. Breakfast and trekking to the different geysers and thermal swimming pool. Return to San Pedro at 4:00pm. Transfer to the Calama Airport. Flight to Santiago. Reception and transfer to hotel. Lodging.
