Ski guide

One of Chile’s main characteristics is that it is surrounded by geographic events. On one side it has the Pacific Ocean, and on the other the Andes mountain range, which imposes itself with eternal mountains all over the territory. There are over 4 thousand kilometers of mountains, in which you can ski between July and October.

Besides the vast territory in which people can ski, the mountains of Chile are known worldwide because the ski centers installed on them have excellent infrastructure, becoming small cities up in the mountain where people not only go to ski but to get away from the city and its craziness.

All ski centers feature stores where you can buy or rent the necessary equipment to practice sports on the mountains, equipment that includes a pair of skis, boots, hat, sunglasses, poles, proper clothing, gloves and fixers.

In central Chile, Ski centers are located over the two thousand meters of altitude, while in Southern Chile they are lower and include forests around the ski tracks.
